Friendly Pines Camp is an Arizona tradition best known for over 70 years of outstanding summer camping. During the non-summer months, Friendly Pines rents its facility to a wide variety of groups. The Friendly Pines facility can accommodate groups of 15 to 300 people in either Main Camp or The Log House. Some of the groups we have hosted in the past have been:
|School Groups of All Kinds||Band Camps||At-Risk Groups|
|Special Health Needs Camps||Civic Groups||Corporations|
|Company Picnics||Outdoor Education Programs||AND MORE!!|
The Friendly Pines facility is an ideal location for retreats of all kinds. Nestled high in the Ponderosa pines of the Bradshaw Mountains, we are situated approximately 6 miles south of Downtown Prescott, just off of the Senator Highway. Though we are at an elevation of 6300 feet, the camp is very accessible. All but the last 1/4 mile leading to the camp is paved highway. With over 130 private acres bordered on three sides by the vast Prescott National Forest, the camp offers its groups privacy and seclusion. Friendly Pines also embraces a one facility, one group policy. If you rent the facility, it is yours. You will not be asked to share with another group!
There are two options for you to consider. Main Camp is able to host most rental groups from 60 to 200+ people in rustic redwood cabins. The Log House, situated away from Main Camp, is used for smaller groups. Click on the photos below to learn more about renting Main Camp, The Log House or The Challenge Program.
