“Being a counselor at Friendly Pines has been the most life changing experience I could ask for! Being on challenge staff made me realize how much of an impact I have on kids when I see them finally go down the zip line or climb higher on the rock wall than they ever had. I know I’ve changed my campers lives for the better and they have changed mine forever. Friendly Pines is a place where I’ve made lifelong friends and truly is a home away from home!”

It was amazing to be on the other side of things by going from camper to counselor and being the ones that help the campers have experiences they will keep forever!

“I have never experienced a job quite like FPC and I do not think that I ever will. I have never been exposed to so many new opportunities to try new things and learn new skills. Whether it be how to take care of a goat, to improving on my shot in riflery, I feel as though both the counselors and campers alike are able to learn so much about not only camp activities but also life in general. This summer will go down as one I will never forget and I hope to continue to learn and teach at FPC in the future.”

My favorite part about working at Friendly Pines Camp is working alongside some of the best people in the world. Summer camp offers kids a chance to have fun, be themselves and try new things. As a camp counselor you get to facilitate all of that and more. Best summer ever!
