Welcome to the website of Friendly Pines Camp and CampWay, LLC (“CampWay,” “Friendly Pines Camp,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of our websites, including friendlypines.com and other websites, pages, forms, and online services that we operate and that link to these Terms (collectively, the “Site”).

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site.

1. About the Site

The Site provides information about Friendly Pines Camp and programs and services operated or offered by CampWay, which may include summer camp, outdoor education programs, retreats, group events, weddings, family programs, and other experiences.

Information provided on the Site is intended for general informational purposes. Specific programs, availability, dates, rates, policies, activities, facilities, and other offerings may change from time to time.

2. Eligibility and Use of the Site

You may use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You agree not to:

  • Use the Site in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its systems, or information associated with other users.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the operation or security of the Site.
  • Introduce viruses, malicious code, or other harmful technology.
  • Scrape, copy, reproduce, or systematically collect Site content without our permission, except as permitted by law.
  • Impersonate another person or provide false or misleading information through the Site.

We work to keep information on the Site accurate and current. However, dates, rates, availability, program descriptions, activities, schedules, policies, staffing, facilities, and other details may change.

Information displayed on the Site does not guarantee availability or constitute a binding offer.

Registration for a camp program, reservation, rental, retreat, event, or other service may be subject to additional agreements, policies, payment terms, cancellation provisions, waivers, releases, or other conditions. If there is a conflict between these Terms of Use and a specific agreement governing a program, registration, reservation, or event, the terms of the specific agreement will control with respect to that service.

4. Registration, Reservations, and Payments

Certain portions of the Site may allow you to submit inquiries, register for programs, request reservations, make payments, or access services provided by third-party platforms.

Submitting a form, application, registration, or payment does not necessarily guarantee acceptance, enrollment, or a reservation unless and until it is confirmed in accordance with the applicable registration or booking process.

Additional terms may apply to registrations, reservations, deposits, tuition, fees, cancellations, refunds, and payment schedules. Those terms will be provided through the applicable registration, booking, or contractual process.

5. Information You Provide

When you provide information through the Site, you agree that the information you submit will be accurate and that you are authorized to provide it.

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

Information concerning campers, participants, medical needs, emergency contacts, authorized adults, and similar matters may also be governed by enrollment forms, participant agreements, waivers, or other program-specific documents.

6. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise indicated, the Site and its contents are owned by or licensed to CampWay, Friendly Pines Camp, or their respective owners and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

This includes, without limitation:

  • Text and written content
  • Photographs and videos
  • Graphics and illustrations
  • Logos and trademarks
  • Website design and layout
  • Program materials
  • Downloadable resources

You may view and use Site content for your personal, noncommercial use.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, sell, license, publicly display, or commercially exploit Site content without prior written permission from the applicable rights holder, except where permitted by law.

7. Photos and Media

Photos, videos, testimonials, and other media appearing on the Site may depict campers, families, staff members, guests, facilities, activities, or past events.

The presence of such content on the Site does not grant users permission to copy, reproduce, distribute, or otherwise use that content.

Permissions relating to the capture and use of photographs or video of individual participants are governed separately by the applicable enrollment, registration, event, or participation agreements.

8. Trademarks

Friendly Pines Camp, CampWay, and associated names, logos, designs, slogans, and branding may be trademarks or other protected intellectual property.

Nothing in these Terms grants you permission to use our names, trademarks, logos, or branding without prior written authorization.

9. Third-Party Websites and Services

The Site may contain links to or integrations with third-party websites and services, including registration systems, payment processors, social media platforms, mapping services, or other service providers.

We do not control those third-party services and are not responsible for their content, availability, security, privacy practices, or terms.

Your use of a third-party website or service is governed by that provider’s own terms and policies.

10. Website Availability

We strive to maintain a useful and reliable Site, but we do not guarantee that the Site will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

We may modify, suspend, remove, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

These limitations relate to use of the Site. Participation in camps, programs, activities, rentals, retreats, events, or other services may be governed by separate agreements, releases, waivers, and terms.

13. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless CampWay, Friendly Pines Camp, and their respective owners, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your unlawful use of the Site or your material violation of these Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

To the extent permitted by law, any legal proceeding arising specifically from these Terms or use of the Site will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Yavapai County, Arizona.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time.

When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site after updated Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
