You spend your days outside leading games, teaching activities, laughing with campers, singing around campfires, and building friendships that happen fast when everyone is living life together. It’s joyful, demanding, messy, meaningful, and different from almost any other job out there.

What You Need to Know Before You Apply
Compensation & Benefits
A summer at Friendly Pines is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference, build lasting friendships, and grow as a leader. In addition to seasonal wages, team members receive housing, meals, comprehensive training, and ongoing leadership development throughout the summer. Summer salary details will be announced later this fall.
Living at Camp
Counselors live in cabins alongside campers and become fully immersed in the Friendly Pines community. You will wake to the morning bell, gather for family-style meals in the dining hall, and spend your days leading and teaching campers through your activity department. Each evening, you will help create the camp magic as our community comes together under the stars.
Summer Commitment & Important Dates
The counselor experience includes staff training followed by the summer camp season. Some team members may be invited to arrive early for specialized activity training, while others may have the opportunity to stay beyond the main camp season. Summer 2027 dates and employment details will be announced later this fall.
